Sydney Dog Training School

How We Train at dogLOGIC

The methods used in our Sydney dog training classes are positive, reward-based, and fun for both you and your dog … And no, reward-based training doesn’t mean that you’re bribing your dog, or that you’ll need to use food forever

Reward-based positive reinforcement dog training simply means rewarding desired behaviours and motivating your dog so that they always enjoy their training session; no harsh methods are needed. And rewards can take many forms and depend on the situation – it could be your dog’s favourite toy, favourite food, being released to play, affection, or a game. Whatever they find reinforcing!

A motivated, stimulated dog is likely to be a happier dog, eager to learn and loving training because it invigorates their mind. Training should never be frustrating or a chore – it should ALWAYS be fun for both you and your dog.

Generally speaking, you wouldn’t go to work if you didn’t get paid, would you?

Positive reinforcement training is science-based and has been used with great success for many years to manage and train wild or exotic animals. It has only been applied to dog training in more recent years, and now, forward-thinking trainers are using these methods with undeniably positive results!
